Drahi brain communication and computation laboratory
This is a special and emotional event, celebrating the inauguration of the "Drahi brain communication and computation laboratory" at the new Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences (ELSC). It is a new beginning, with new ambitious projects, e.g.- Understanding neurons as sophisticated "deep networks"-like elements.
- Studying Human neurons and circuits (based on fresh cortical tissue in collaboration with Shaare Zedek hospital).
- Unraveling the hidden structure of dense cortical circuits reconstructed digitally and teaching this circuit various recognition tasks.
